After her mother’s death, Cora and her dad are trying to keep her mom’s wedding planning business alive but with the new focus of hosting murder mystery dinners too. Her first event was a complete bust, with no one even showing up. However, she does meet Liam, who invites her for a coffee to make her feel better and they hit it off.
The second event Cora holds is a murder mystery dinner filled with unusual characters who have their own feuds with each other. Cora needs to make this event a success or the business is over. Liam is attending the dinner too. He’s not really interested in murder mystery dinners, just Cora, but he makes it his mission to help her calm the chaos and end the feuds. But between a fake murder and a real theft, someone Cora trusts tells her some distressing information about Liam. Is it true? Is he really just a ladies man? Can Cora save her business? Is Liam the man for her? Or are the whispers she hears about him true?
